In this episode of The Dive Locker Podcast you’ll learn about how to use great storytelling to educate students.
Welcome To The Show!
Welcome to The Dive Locker Podcast, the podcast for dive professionals where we bring you the latest in diving industry resources that make you excellent at teaching techniques, risk management and dive business.
Hey everyone welcome once to the show. Thanks for the great comments and support of our last couple episodes – first on the negligence episode and then last weeks professional liability insurance episode. Lot’s of great comments, sharing of the posts, and it’s great to see how many of you downloaded the Professional Liability Insurance Policy Worksheet. I did get corrected on one thing I mentioned the premiums of the policies, but I did not mention that both the DAN and V&B policies included taxes and fees. But the First Dive policy did not. That premium of $814 that I mentioned is actually higher once the taxes and fees are added, I think that brings it over $900 when those are added.
Again thanks for all the support from those episodes
Today we are going over the art of storytelling in your classes. As dive pro’s we love to tell our diving stories. But we’ve been cautioned on telling too many war stories. Well, there is some truth to that if the stories are inappropriate. However, I want to encourage you on your storytelling. And, Ill go over some tips and techniques for using storytelling as an educational tool.
