In this episode of The Dive Locker Podcast we learn about the differences in paid ads versus organic digital marketing reach.
Welcome To The Show!
Welcome to The Dive Locker Podcast, the podcast for dive professionals where we bring you the latest in diving industry resources that make you excellent at teaching techniques, risk management and dive business.
So we all know that to market your business, your sales and your services is not about print ads in newspapers, handing out flyers on street corners and billboards. The world of being able to market yourselves is primarily digital. But just as with any type of advertising there are costs, and we have to balance those costs with effective reach.
So today we’ve invited back digital marketing expert Jennifer Shaheen with the awesome company Technology Therapy Group to discuss paid versus organic digital reach. This is a great overview of how and when Facebook posts, Instagram posts and website specials, should go into paid campaigns like Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads and Google Adsense and more.
About Jennifer Shaheen

I met Jennifer two years ago when I was her moderator in the DEMA Virtual Show in 2020. Her presentation was outstanding. So I checked out her company The Technology Therapy Group and I took some of her online courses. I was blown away by the content and the takeaways. And I realized how beneficial her training programs would be to everyone who listens to this show – whether and independent instructor, charter boat operator, or manager or owner of a dive center – large or small.
The specialty area of digital marketing is absolutely critical to any diving professional. Jennifer and I co-presented at the DEMA Show last year in Vegas and we had here on episode 109 where she discussed Digital Marketing Channels. And, I’m so impressed with her company that I became an affiliate and I strongly recommend her training and mentoring programs specific to your marketing needs.
