In this episode of The Dive Locker Podcast we learn five steps to properly closing a retail sale.
Welcome To The Show!
Welcome to The Dive Locker Podcast, the podcast for dive professionals where we bring you the latest in diving industry resources that make you excellent at teaching techniques, risk management and dive business.
You ever watch a movie, or maybe you’ve seen this in real life, where a guy’s desperately trying to pick up a girl at a bar. By using cheesy or gimmicky pickup lines, he’s always trying to close the deal. Well, everyone watching – including the girl feels yucky going through this experience. And the success rate is abysmal.
Well, I liken that to many “closing sales techniques” that have been circulating and taught for years. And just like the girl at the bar, your customer is more educated, more savvy and will sniff out these techniques, realizing that you are treating them as a sale rather than a person.
So today I want to share with you 5 steps to closing a retail sale – for both products AND services.
