In this episode of The Dive Locker Podcast we discuss steps to transform from a scuba instructor into a diving professional with Brandon Wolters.
Welcome To The Show!
Welcome to The Dive Locker Podcast, the podcast for dive professionals where we bring you the latest in diving industry resources that make you excellent at teaching techniques, risk management and dive business.
A few months back one of our patrons of this podcast contacted me talking about how he notices a lack of professionalism in our industry. Cheap courses, loosening of standards, just overall having more of a dive bum image than that of a professional.
So we’ve had a wonderful back and forth exchange and I wanted to invite him on the show, to hear how he’s stepping up his game and that of his staff.
Brandon Wolters is currently a NAUI CD and Technical Instructor working in SW Florida. He’s lived and worked in various environments ranging from tropical islands like St Thomas and Hawaii to Las Vegas, teaching SCUBA and running shops. He started diving when he was about 12 years old and became hooked. Brandon was initially a PADI MSDT and since he’s also taught for SDI/TDI, SSI, and IANTD.
