051 The Best Of The Dive Locker Podcast A One Year Anniversary Special Episode

By Tec Clark Leave a Comment

In this episode of The Dive Locker Podcast we celebrate our one year anniversary and I highlight the previous year’s episodes.

Welcome To The Show!

Welcome to The Dive Locker Podcast, the podcast for dive professionals where we bring you the latest in diving industry resources that make you excellent at teaching techniques, risk management and dive business.

And it is great to have you a part of our one year anniversary of The Dive Locker Podcast! Yes, it was one year ago that this podcast launched. There’s a lot of diving podcasts out there, but it was put on my heart to create a podcast that actually improved the profession of diving supervision and instruction. And here we are 51 episodes later – its not 52 episodes because we skipped Christmas day – and from just the overwhelming comments I’ve received over this past year, I know the mission of this podcast has helped so many of you.

Hey and Ive learned things along the way doing my research and interviewing some great folks. So as this is our one year anniversary episode I want to do a best of The Dive Locker Podcast. Now many podcasts for a best of episode will take a few select moments and replay them, but actually you have heard them before already and if you haven’t then I don’t want to minimize that whole episode into a few quotes. So I’m gonna simply go through and briefly point out the useful info from each episode. Who knows maybe you haven’t heard that episode before and now you make it a note to go back and listen to it. That’s what we’ll do for our best of episode.

Now, at this point in every episode is when I will say who this show is sponsored by and over the past year we have had corporate sponsors like DEMA and Stream to Sea as well as my own ScubaGuru Academy courses. However, those sponsorships cover the technical side of this podcast hosting and other podcasting services I use, but it does not cover my time.

Each week I spend about 4 hours or more to produce and launch one episode. And to help with monetizing and keeping this podcast strong and going I will now be offering YOU the opportunity to be a sponsor of The Dive Locker podcast. I have now set up an account with Patreon. Patreon is a platform that allows fans of podcasts or YouTube channels to support those shows with small monthly payments.

If you find this show adds value to you as a dive pro and you’d like to help support the show, please consider supporting it on Patreon. It’s only $4 per month – that’s only $1 per episode, that’s all I’m asking that you consider supporting this show at. But if you absolutely love this show and you got a little more bank, then you can be at the Rockstar level patron for $10 a month. When you become a supporter of The Dive Locker at either level, you’ll get a shout out from me on the next episode after you join.

You will also be listed on the Patrons of Dive Locker Podcast webpage. And you will receive 10% off any ScubaGuru Academy course at the Patron level, and 20% off at the Rockstar level. And of course my undying appreciation for helping support the show. So please check out the link to The Dive Locker’s Patreon page on the show notes or simply go to https://www.patreon.com/thedivelocker. and I will give you a shout out for being a fan and supporter of the show!

And here we go with our one year anniversary best of show.
